Clinical Summary

Study Overview

Objective

Evaluate 24-hour moisturisation activity, with secondary assessment of skin elasticity, barrier function, smoothness, and plump score on normal skin.

Methodology

Open-label study. N=32 subjects. Instrumental assessment at Baseline, 30 min, 8 hr, and 24 hr. Instruments: Corneometer (hydration), Cutometer (elasticity R2), Tewameter (TEWL), plus dermatologist ordinal evaluation for smoothness and plump score.

Findings

Hydration peaked at 30 min (+40%) and remained elevated at 24 hr (+14%). Elasticity showed progressive improvement throughout, peaking at 24 hr (+53%). Barrier function improved from 30 min onwards. Smoothness increased +60.7% and plump score improved +54.5% on dermatologist evaluation.
