Objective

Evaluate 24-hour moisturisation potential of a single mask application. Secondary: barrier function (TEWL), plump score.

Methodology

Open-label. N=32. Corneometer for hydration (absolute AU and % change from baseline), Tewameter for TEWL. Dermatologist-evaluated plump score on 5-point ordinal scale (0–4). Timepoints: Baseline, 30 min, 24 hr.

Findings

Single application produced an 87% hydration increase at 30 min (absolute: 41.34 → 77.17 AU). Effect sustained at 47% above baseline at 24 hr. Barrier function improved +17% at 30 min. Plump score doubled (1.125 → 2.25) on dermatologist assessment.
